What suits you?

There are many options to consider before choosing your ideal route.

Are you a bad sailor and prefer driving ? A short crossing can appear to save time & money, but consider the driving time the extra cost of petrol, wear & tear etc both ways.

If you have a long drive on the British side, a longer crossing allows extra rest and a shorter drive on the French side. Night crossings take a little longer, with a cabin giving more benefit on a longer crossing.
